Here's exactly how the money works.
Our sponsor
The Bronx Cannabis Free Press is presented by Buddiez Bronx Cannabis Dispensary, a New York-licensed adult-use dispensary (license OCM-CAURD-25-000297) at 2935 Third Ave in the South Bronx, operated by Storytellers New York, LLC. Buddiez funds our operating costs so the Free Press can stay free.
What the sponsor gets
- Recognition as presenting sponsor: the "Presented by" ribbon, sponsor boxes on pages, the footer listing and a dedicated sponsor page with its hours, map and directions.
- Links to its website in those placements and, where relevant to a story, in our reporting.
What the sponsor doesn't get
- No preview, edit or approval of any story or rating.
- No influence on dispensary reviews, the Cannabis Friendliness Index or story selection.
- No access to reader data.
How we label it
Every story that mentions Buddiez includes a disclosure box. The Buddiez review states the sponsorship at the top and uses the same scoring rubric as every other shop in our Bronx dispensary reviews.
Other businesses
We don't sell reviews, ratings or placement in the Friendliness Index or dispensary directory. Other sponsorships are available and always labeled — see advertise with us.
