Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we don't, and your choices.

This policy explains what information The Bronx Cannabis Free Press ("we") collects when you use this website and our newsletter, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- You give us: your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter; anything you send us through email or the contact page.
- Collected automatically: standard web logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring site) and, if enabled, privacy-friendly analytics used to understand which stories readers find useful.
- Third-party embeds: map embeds (Google Maps), fonts (Google Fonts) and a weather widget (Open-Meteo) load resources from those providers, which may receive your IP address under their own privacy policies.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for (unsubscribe anytime via the link in every email).
- To respond to tips, questions and correction requests.
- To keep the site secure and understand aggregate readership.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't share your information with our sponsor. Clicking a link to a sponsor's or any other website takes you to that site, governed by its own policies.
- We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. This site is intended for adults 21+.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to run the site and, if enabled, analytics cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing newsroom email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws; we'll honor verified requests.
Security & retention
We keep newsletter data only as long as you're subscribed, and correspondence only as long as needed to respond and keep a record of corrections.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for material changes, note it in the newsletter.
