- You give us: your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter; anything you send us through email or the contact page.

- Third-party embeds: map embeds (Google Maps), fonts (Google Fonts) and a weather widget (Open-Meteo) load resources from those providers, which may receive your IP address under their own privacy policies.
How we use it
- To send the newsletter you asked for (unsubscribe anytime via the link in every email).
- To respond to tips, questions and correction requests.
- To keep the site secure and understand aggregate readership.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal information.
- We don't share your information with our sponsor. Clicking a link to a sponsor's or any other website takes you to that site, governed by its own policies.
